Master the Essentials of Top Rope Guiding with ACIA
The Top Rope Guide (TRG) workshop is an intensive training session designed to equip climbers with the essential skills for safely guiding top-rope climbs. Offered as part of the Australian Climbing Instructors Association (ACIA) scheme, this course is facilitated by Adventure Training, an ACIA Approved Course Provider.
During this workshop, participants will cover key topics, including site selection, rigging systems, group management, and rescue procedures. The training is ideal for those who are either new to guiding or looking to refine their existing skills. The course will include both practical and theoretical components, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of top-rope guiding.
CAWA recommends this course to all climbers, aiming to enhance their guiding capabilities, expand their knowledge, and learn best practices from experienced instructors.
