CAWA is a not-for-profit run by climbers, for climbers. We've looked after climbing in WA since 1968 - protecting access to crags, running events and courses, and keeping fixed gear safe.
We're volunteer-run, so donations go a long way. You choose where yours goes.
Choose where your donation goes
Support CAWA
Keeps the everyday work going - protecting access to crags, safety and skills programmes, events and club nights, and speaking up for climbers with land managers.
Give once, or set up a small amount each month.
Bolting Fund
Pays for new bolts and anchors so old, worn fixed gear gets replaced on WA routes. 100% of it goes to re-bolting work.
A one-off gift, any amount you like.
Where your money goes
Two funds, two jobs. Here's what each one pays for.
Supporting CAWA
General donations are unrestricted, so the committee can put them where they're needed most.
Access
Working with land managers and landowners so WA crags stay open to climbers.
Safety and skills
Courses, guides and safety info that help people move outdoors the right way.
Community
Club nights, events, the Western Climber magazine and the CAWA scholarship.

Disclaimers
Climbing is a potentially dangerous activity.
Re-bolting doesn't guarantee a route is safe.
CAWA doesn't endorse or provide a safety guarantee for any re-bolted route. • All climbers need the knowledge to assess bolt safety for themselves.
You use re-bolted routes at your own risk.
Every bit counts.
