About event
Build confidence, build anchors - take your safety to the next level.
Want to gain more independence at the crag? Our Top Rope Anchor Building Workshop is the perfect next step for those looking to deepen their skills and knowledge outdoors. Whether you’ve recently started outdoor climbing or you're brushing up for safe personal trips, this full-day workshop will give you the confidence and competency to build solid, safe top rope anchors.
This workshop is exclusively for CAWA members who are proficient in lead climbing indoors and are looking to confidently make the transition to outdoor climbing.

Spots are limited - book now and gain the skills to climb smarter and safer outdoors.
Held at Statham’s Quarry, one of Perth’s most accessible and popular climbing locations, you’ll be guided through the process of identifying natural features, using fixed protection, evaluating anchor setups, and understanding redundancy principles - all in a hands-on, practical format.
This is an excellent stepping stone towards joining future CAWA outdoor climbing trips and building confidence on real rock.
Weather Policy
This workshop is weather-dependent. If conditions are unsuitable, the event may be rescheduled, moved earlier, or cancelled. Participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Full refunds will be provided if the event is cancelled.
