Wanted to know how to safely set up 2-point top rope anchors that are accessible from above the cliff face (i.e. don’t require lead climbing)?

Entry requirements

• Must own your own climbing shoes, harness, belay device and helmet.

• Suitable for people who have been top roping indoors for at least 2 months, can belay safely and are comfortable in outdoor environments.

• Considerations for climbing in the outdoors.

• Ethics.

• Climbing specific knots and their applications.

• Choosing and finding suitable routes for top-rope climbing.

• Selecting and connecting to anchors. These could be bolts, rocks or trees.

• How to build a top rope anchor.
