A friendly but fierce lead climbing series to push your limits all summer long.

The Summer Lead Series 2026 (SLS26) is Urban Jungle’s flagship lead climbing competition, running across multiple rounds throughout the summer and designed to challenge, motivate, and bring together climbers of all abilities.

Hosted at Urban Jungle Indoor Rock Climbing Centre, SLS26 focuses on modern lead routes that reward good movement, smart tactics, and consistency across rounds. Climbers compete in clearly defined categories, making the series welcoming for newer competitors while still providing a proper challenge for experienced lead climbers.

Each round features fresh routes, a supportive atmosphere, and plenty of opportunity to learn, improve, and measure progress over time. Whether you’re chasing points, podiums, or stoked to clip bolts with friends, SLS26 is about building skills, confidence, and community.

CAWA is pleased to promote this competition as part of the wider WA climbing calendar. While this is not a CAWA-run event, it’s an excellent chance for members to get involved in structured competition, sharpen lead skills, and connect with the broader climbing scene.

Expect great routes, good vibes, and a series that keeps you motivated all summer long.
