The Perfect Climbing Destination

Albany and its surroundings offer a wide range of climbing opportunities for sports and trad climbers of all levels. Whether you’re a beginner looking for a new challenge or an experienced climber seeking excitement, Albany has it all. Here are some of the fantastic climbing spots you can explore:

West Cape Howe

West Cape Howe, the closest crag to the campsite, offers breathtaking vistas and challenging routes. It’s the perfect place to kick off your climbing adventure during our EOY trip.

Peak Head

For those seeking a bit of variety, Peak Head offers an exhilarating climbing experience. With its unique rock formations, you’re in for a treat.

The Gap

True to its name, The Gap provides thrilling climbing opportunities that will leave you in awe of nature’s beauty. Don’t miss out on this fantastic spot. Please be aware that some crags are closed during public holidays.

Monkey Rock

If you’re up for a challenge or wanna have an easy day, Monkey Rock is the place to be.
