Join us over the ANZAC long weekend for a flexible and social climbing gathering in the Stirling Range National Park - one of Western Australia’s most unique and adventurous climbing destinations.

Unlike structured trips, this weekend is about choosing your own objectives and climbing at your level. Whether you’re keen to tackle classic routes on Bluff Knoll, explore the steeper lines of Talyuberlup Peak, enjoy the variety at Mt Trio, or venture out to areas like Coyanarup, there’s something here for experienced and self-sufficient climbers looking to make the most of the long weekend.
A highlight of this trip is that the author of the new Stirling Range Rock Climbing Guidebook will be joining as the event organiser. This is a rare opportunity to get up-to-date route information, local insights, and perhaps even get your guidebook signed.
Camping in Nature’s Embrace
We’ll be based at Stirling Range Retreat, staying on unpowered sites ($20 per night - included in your registration). The retreat offers convenient access to multiple peaks and is a comfortable base for a full weekend of climbing.
Get ready
If you’re planning to climb in the Stirlings, the new Stirling Range guidebook is highly recommended. Copies are available online via the CAWA shop and in several Perth climbing gyms.

Register Your Team
1. Tickets
2. Fill Out Participants Form
This is a must. Without the form, the registration is not complete, and your booking will be recognised.
Requirements
At CAWA, safety is our top priority. All participants must adhere to the following guidelines:
Independent climbers are responsible for themselves.
All participants must sign a Deed of Release and Indemnity (if they haven't already), RSVP, and complete the participant's form below.
Inexperienced climbers must partner with an experienced climber. We might be able to pair you up on the day, but prior arrangements are advised.
A parent, guardian, or responsible/qualified adult must accompany climbers under 18 years old.
If you’re new to climbing, be sure to check out CAWA Trips for additional information and reach out to us via email. Stirling Range NP is not the best for climbers new to the outdoors unless supervised by an experienced climber.
Participants must be confident with trad climbing and multi-pitch systems if planning any trad routes, and comfortable with leading and cleaning sport routes if only sport climbing. The terrain here is more adventurous than most WA crags and requires solid judgement, fitness, and preparation. If you enjoy remote climbing, big views, and a sense of exploration, this trip is for you.
