Over three days, we’ll have the option to explore legendary areas such as West Cape Howe, known for its dramatic ocean climbs; Peak Head with sweeping sea views; and the distinctive Porongurups granite, home to varied single and multi-pitch lines, same as Peaceful Bay, Mt Lindesay or Monkey Rock.
As with all CAWA trips, this is a peer-based, self-sufficient climbing trip.
No instruction, guiding, or training is provided. Participants are responsible for their own safety, route choices, gear, transport, and camping arrangements. You must bring adequate equipment and feel comfortable operating independently in the terrain you choose to climb.
Camping is in a scenic private bush site close to climbing spots, perfect for unwinding after days on the rock and socialising with fellow climbers. Whether you’re pushing grades, enjoying spectacular views, or soaking in the Australia Day long weekend energy, this adventure offers something for every seasoned outdoor climber.
Camping in Nature’s Embrace
During our EOY trip, we’ll be camping on private property close to West Cape Howe. This secluded campsite is perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of nature and want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Here’s what you can expect:
Maximum capacity: 20 people per night.
Suitable for tent and rooftop tent camping.

The exact address will be provided individually.
Camping fee: $10 per person per night.
