Expand your skills into multi-pitch systems, advanced rope work, and complex terrain supervision.

The Multi Pitch Guide (MPG) course is designed for experienced SPG or SCI practitioners ready to guide and instruct in multi-pitch climbing environments. Delivered by Adventure Training Consultants, this program introduces the advanced systems, judgement, and supervisory skills required for safely managing climbers on multi-pitch routes.

Training includes:

• Multi-pitch transitions, stances, and efficient rope management

• Advanced anchor systems and belay setup

• Route planning and complex terrain risk assessment

• Client movement coaching on multi-pitch ground

• Problem-solving, rescues, and emergency procedures

• Communication strategies across long pitches

This is the ideal progression for climbers developing toward the Climbing Instructor (CI) level or those supporting groups in more committing outdoor settings.

CAWA strongly encourages climbers seeking deeper technical capability and responsible outdoor leadership to pursue ACIA-recognised training.

This is not a CAWA-run event. CAWA is only sharing this course as a recommended training opportunity.
